When assisting Wes, on his studio shoot at the college, the talented, designer, Florie, that supplied the clothes, was a potential subject for me.
I then got talking with her, and asked if her website was complete, or started, and gave her the opportunity to build up a portfolio of her designs.
I then envisioned the clothing designs in the woods.
We both got extremely excited at the prospect, we then began to coordinate.
With a team of makeup artists and 2 models, and with the very talented LEWIS, who (supported, assisted), on the outdoor portraits with portable lighting,,,
After the preperation for the girls, off to the location we began with the wooden shacks at switherland woods as our location, then clock watching the sun setting, after packing up and the models getting changed for the next location in the woods, we missed the window of 30 seconds to a minute of the sun's rays filtering through the trees...
But were very happy with the first shoot at the wooden cabin location, which was 2 minutes away.
After this shoot, so much was learnt, in the coordination of the shoot to the techniques used with the outdoor flash kit.......
The following shoot was to have more focus on the garnments rather than the models, but the designer liked the outcome.
Here are a few of the images taken
Feedback needed,,,please feel free to comment,,,,,
I will upload 2 more when internet speed is rectified..
Happy viewing

types of photography
Streaming the web for photographers, i came across, minimalist photogaphy,,,check this out !!!
http://dzineblog.com/2011/03/40-examples-of-minimalist-photography.html
I felt when viewing these photographs, it concentrates on the subject, entirely, 'of course', but the clean, simple, yet, quite, powerfull image jumps and tells you what the photograph is portraying.
Enjoy !!
